Hi all my LS friends. Have to ask this.
when a flare up isn’t happening and a daily routine is keeping one at bay, do you think I could go into a swimmimg pool with chlorinated water? Hope this isn’t a stupid question.

My own feeling is that it's not a great idea as the chlorine in the water might bring on a flare up. Doctor's advice is don't put anything scented or with strong chemicals near the affected area. I think I would include chlorine. Even in the sea, there are pollutants which might affect you. I may be wrong but that's the way I would proceed. Hope that helps.

Its not a stupid question as theres no such thing when it comes to LS! We are all learning! I can only tell you from my experience as I live in Florida and it's a must..lol. I have never had a reaction to chlorine and the ocean is wonderful. The saltwater heals for sure!

As soon as I get out of the water I squirt fresh water into my Vjay using a Black anal douche I purchased on Amazon...this removes/dilutes any chlorine that may have entered my Vjay.
Then I scrub every inch of my skin in the shower to remove all traces of chlorine...
