Switch from citalopram to escitalopram

Has anyone made this switch? I have now been on escitalopram for 5 days now after a year and a half on cit. It got to the point where I just didn't feel like it was helping for my panic / anxiety anymore and I didn't want to up my dose as I felt constantly tired and spaced out. I know it's early but I already feel a lot more positive on the escit and I feel a lot more alert. Anyone else switched and had good results?

    my dr just switched me to lexapro from citalopram .. i pray my results are good!

    My doctor prescribed escitalopram to me and wants me to start on a day I am home for my first time. Actually today I should start (Sunday) but I am afraid to start taking them any thoughts?
