switch or keep going with prozac?

iv'e been taking 30mg of prozac for 4 weeks and I just finished week 5 with a combination of 30mg prozac and Wellbutrin. Before i started taking Wellbutrin my penis was cold/numb for some reason and i felt decreased libido. Now Iv'e got the warmth back but I am still very worried about the sexual side affects of prozac.

Im starting Week 6 and right now i feel emotionally flat. i yawn alot during the day and i am always fatigued. i do not have the energy i had before. i am still totally not myself and i still do little interest doing activities that make me happy. things that always make me laugh don't anymore. i know it takes a lot of time for this medication to work but im worried i won't bounce back to my old self.

Also i am on week 6 and my loss of appettite hasn't increased. I can still lay in bed all day get up and eat one meal a day. dont worry im forcing myself to eat to get the calories and nutrients i need. but it's week 6 I still haven't felt REAL hunger.

I plan on finishing 8 weeks with these medications. that's 4 with prozac alone and 4 weeks with a combination of prozac and wellbutrin xl. Then i will go back to my physican and decide on the next course of action.

You need to bear with it. It took me 8 weeks at 40mg before I felt any different. But it's so worth it when you get there. It took me at least another 9 months after that to get my labido back! But it was worth it! Stick with it 😉 xx

It gets better with time just hang in there

You will never know if a medication works if you don't let your body adjust to it

For some it takes a couple of months before you feel good but it's worth the wait

I'm on 40mg and I've noticed the more I take fluoxetine the less side effects you get

What helped me was taking it at night just before bed with a snack you sleep off most of the side effects

Although I haven't noticed that many anymore which is good
