Switch to Methotrexate Injection

I've been on 20mg oral methotrexate for almost a year for my psoriatic arthritis. Makes me feel sick, insanely tired, just generally gross. My rheumatologist has switched me to injection. I was supposed to take the tablets on Friday but had to wait til today because I had to have a nurse with me for my first injection. Did it and it was fine. Now I feel horrendous. Sick, headache, earache, tired, pounding heart. Really worried as I haven't felt like this before and I'm on my own at Uni and my last exam is on Friday sad any advice?

Oh gosh! So sorry to hear that! have you tried camomile tea it really calms the stomach. Im still on oral and vomit for 2 days. BUT it is better than the pain...I would say cool and quiet dark rooms with blankets and pillows and some nice soft music. Just give it a try.

I have similar symptoms. Doc prescribed Leucovirin. It helps some. My symptoms last about 18 hours each week. I take it about 4 hours before bed and plan to be in a brain fog and malaise the next day until the early evening.
