Hi ! My doc recently changed my citalopram from 20mg to 30mg. I was very. sick and anxiety went through the roof. So 12 days ago I was switched to Lustral 50mg. I can feel a slight improvement. Although my biggest problem is I cannot sleep. Most I have had is about two hours together !! Any advice ?? Thanks.

I am just switching from citlopram to sertraline I was on citlopram for 6 weeks they made my legs go like jelly and anxiety spiralled out of control generally felt like crap I have been on sertraline before and felt ok until the 4 week mark then it happened again with the anxiety and feeling generally unwell now I will stick it out as I've tried 5 different AD in the past 6 months and have felt awful for a long time the last time I was on sertraline I had a very heavy head a little dizzy and very tired which I thought helped a little with my anxiety but not looking forward to going through it all again anyway best of luck and keep in touch with your progress

Hi have u had a diff class of meds instead of just the SSRI's?

SSRI's do not agree with me we have decided so i will try Mirtazipine which is a NASSA(google it).I am hoping that this will be successful for me.

Iam going through the exact same problem at the moment,my gp increased my sertaline  to 100mg.i remember when I first started taking sertaline the insomnia died down after 2 to 3 week.you can try and see if ur gp will prescribe you a sleeping tablet for the first week or so, until the new med settles down.it will eventually even itself out, just try and stick with it .good luck
