Switching Antidepressants

Hello Everyone,

I started on Celexa about 20 years ago for GAD and OCD eventually transitioning to Lexapro a few years later. This, along with 0.50 of Ativan as needed kept things in check until about 4 months ago. Anxiety was beginning to creep back in. Upped the dose of Lexapro from 20 mg to 30 mg. No relief after 1 month so I switched to Zoloft. That drug was not a good fit for me so after 6 weeks of a gradual increase to 100 mg I switched to 40 mg of Proxac. That was about two weeks ago. No negative reactions, but no significant relief yet. Doc says I need to give it at least a month. Keeping the faith and using Ativan daily to bridge things which helps. Anyone have other feedback about drug transitions? Thank you!
