Switching back to beta blocker

i posted before and stopped a 50mg dose of metoprolol beta blocker(per doctors advise) abruptly. I started cardizem the next day at low dose. By day three we had to triple dose and now its day 5 and im feeling horrific. alot of palpatations, dizziness, stomach pain and headaches and lightheadedness. it doesnt seem tobbe working for me. ive been to er once already for high heart rate on this. has anyone else ever stopped and switched back or switched to something similar?

    I would say your unfortunately experiencing withdrawals from stopping your BB. From what I've read and been told you're never supposed to stop a BB cold turkey. I went through pure hell for two or so months after stopping.
