Switching from Sertraline/Mirt combo to Venlafaxine

Hello,

I was on 200mg Sertraline for 16 years for anxiety and totally well that whole time and then they pooped out (stopped working) for no apparent reason or trigger. Pych recommended adding Mirtazapine and i've been experimenting with dose changes on both for last 18 months without success. Psych is now recommending that i switch to Venlafaxine so just wanted to hear from anyone's positive experiences on switching from Sertraline/Mirt combo or just Sertraline over to Venlafaxine and any advice?
