i have been on sert for around 8 months
started on 25 then 50 then 100
anxiety got worse no appetite and felt constantly scared
went to my doctors they said go on 50mg for few weeks then direct swith to prozac
plzz could anyone advise me on the switch
i am very anxioys and feel scared

I switched from citalopram to sertraline. And I was in the exact same boat. But in the long run it seemes to be the best decision. Its took it's time but I think I'm slowly feeling better 😃 but when I did switch the side effects wear awfull. But it does and will get so much better 😃 so try not to work yourself up 😃. I'm even going back to work next week 😃 so the change could make all the difference

i just upped to 150 from 125 have ocd thoughts and anxiety in my gut from the scary ocd thoughts but thats but thats all the side effects what are you on?

as anxiety is so bad
can i ask will get side effects switching and it worries me that i will still have sertraline in me which scared me
can i still stay on diaz on prozac

I took citalopram and sertraline together for a week. Then I stopped citalopram and the first few weeks wear bad intact up till this week it's been bad. And started before Christmas. But I just kept strong. I'm not better yet. But I'm defo getting their. The doctor would not give it you. If it was going to hurt you. The diaz should be a God send. I only had it once when I first started. And it does the trick

im on 150 for 16 days now after 3 months from 50 up to 150 , this is my second time on sertraline but i was only on 100 for 2 yrs and it worked great .
now 150 mg still not myself and i get racing thoughts that scares me so anxiety is up .
do you feel better on 150 ?

i do my anxiety is down and depression down just ocd thoughts only the 4th day on 150 see if it lasts... 125 really didnt do anything it help a tiny bit

how long u at 100mg? from my experience.. it took me almost 2-3 month to fully kick in at 100mg and take me a year to fully recover. Try just stick on that dose for 2 weeks and let see if u still getting worst or the side effect not improve, u better change your antidepression. From the pass i had this also from using luvox. I stay on it almost 4 month but i keep getting worst so i change to zoloft and starting from low dose. Dont worry if this one not for you, there is another anti depression that right for u. Hope u get well soon.
