Switching times I take my meds

Posted , 3 users are following.

I used to take sertraline at night before bed but I've been working a lot of 3rd shift. A few days ago I decided to take them in the morning. I feel a bit off. I am on my period and having those seizure things or whatever they are so I'm sure that contributes to my general I'll feeling and anxiety. Just wondering if I should not have done that with my sertraline.

Hi Carol, why did you decide to change your time? It is hard to answer your question because whenever I’m on my period I feel off and more anxiety/OCD (pure O). If you still feel off a few days after your period, then you have your answer. I’ve always taken it in the morning, first think I wake up, so I don’t forget.Take care.

Thank you for your reply. I picked up more hours at work and would forget to take them or take them when I remembered making my whole system off.

I used to be like that. I’d say I take it when I get into work but once I get into work with the hustle and bustle of the day I’d forget. If you’re techie maybe you can download an app to remind you to take you med. If not, take it right before bed or right after waking up. XX

    Hi Carol,

I'm not sure what you mean by seizures hun but I deffo feel different when I'm due to come on my period but it passes. In terms of changing the time you take your pills you will feel different until your body gets used to the different times, if you took them at night previously then the medication was working it's way through your system when you were sleeping so yiu will notice the effects if taking them in the morning but you will get used to it. I take

Mine around 7-8pm and I could feel it when I first took them but now I don't notice x

I can only hope it passes soon. As for the seizure things.... That's another subject. I googled deja Vu, period, and siezures. Didn't realize it but there's a name for it. Makese crazy.
