Can your hemorrhoids become so swollen that it makes you feel like you need to go to the bathroom?
Just wondering....

Great if you can manage them with only creams! (Trust me on that) Good luck

I realize that my response is a bit late. But what did you mean by " If I can manage them with only Creams"? They have gotten to the point where they slide out when standing . I have a surgery coming up in March or April so I cant have anything done about them yet. I am hoping that i can get something done soon.

Hi Rhonda. In some cases hems, especially external hems, can be managed by creams, etc. Thats fine for some people and I am envious of that. But in some cases like my case, creams would not solve the problem. In that case surgery may become necessary. I stand by my position; Surgery only when all other remedies have been exhausted! But if surgery is needed, hang out here for support.

I understand ! I feel like surgery is what I will have to do. Mine are slipping out when I stand. Not all the time, but most of the time. I also have a prolapsed rectum, where the rectum comes out of the anus. SO.... I have a 2 fold problem. If I have surgery, then I most certainly will be asking lots of questions! 😦
