Swollen glands

 Hi everyone I hope it’s opening day. I have a question? I just recently started taking gabapentin about a week. And I’ve noticed that the lymph nodes in my neck and groin area have become a little tender. As anyone else experienced the same side effects while taking gabapentin?   Thank you

    Common side effects of gabapentin

    dizziness, 

    drowsiness, 

    unsteadiness, 

    memory loss, 

    lack of coordination, 

    difficulty speaking, 

    viral infections, 

    tremors, 

    double vision, 

    fever, 

    unusual eye movements, and 

    jerky movements. 

    Other side effects of Gabapentin include mood or behavior changes, depression, or anxiety.

    Some people experience swollen lymph nodes in their neck  with gabapentin from what I have read and it is listed as a rare side effect.

      Maybe ask your doctor for a different medication or ask about coming off it slowly.  I have heard it can be very hard to withdraw from.

      I may have to. I just wanted to make sure I’m not the only one that’s experienced weird side effects.
