Swollen left tonsil for several weeks - emergency ???

I have had a swollen left tonsil since the beginning of September (it is now January). i have been treated for two sinus infections, strep, and pink eye (3 times) since September. each time i get sick, my throat and lymphnodes become even more swollen to the point that i have difficulty swallowing and breathing. once antibiotics kick in, the swelling goes down but the left side remains enlarged. i am not experiencing pain but the lump in my throat causes constant discomfort like i can feel it everytime i swallow. is this normal ??image
