I'm referring to lymph nodes under arm and near breast

    Hi you don't say where.

I got one on my scalp recently

Then 3 around my ear on the same side. Dr didn't know why but I had antibiotics. I just thought it was an ear infection.

    Hope yours settles down.

Yes I get that frequently Kiki. Especially when I am tired. It could be due to hormonal changes as well in my case. I can't speak for the other ladies but I have always experienced swollen and tender lymph glands under my arms for as long as I can remember. I have had FM for over 30 years. If you are worried, have it checked out to put your mind at ease. Maggie x

    Hiya sweet.

    Have you been unwell?

I would go to gp just to rule any nastys out.

My lymph nodes was swallon and very painful if touched. I had 2 blood tests 1st was high white blood cells. 2nd was back to normal.

Turned out I had a bug and my body was fighting it. Hence why mine was playing up.

No one mentioned anything about fibro which I have too.

Mine are still tender and a little swallon still after 2 months. Which nurse said its normal and can take a while.

    Gentle hugs P xx

I recently had this happen too after being sick. My GP is sending me for tests to rule out other causes. I just did blood work yesterday. Still have to do ultra sound this week for my thyroid. Depending on my results she may refer me to a specialist. Now that being said, they should only remain swollen for 2 weeks after being sick. Mine have been swollen for months now. I went from being exposed to the measles, which caused epstein barr to flare up, into a severe sinus infection that lasted for almost 2 months. So mine have been swollen since September and I have had other thyroid symptoms. Don't look it up on the Internet cause it will just scare you. Talk to your GP and see if you have to get checked for other illnesses.

Thanks for the replies. I am not sick other than pain all over. I'm not sure was causing my lymph nodes to swell.

Hi Kiki, I'm scheduled for a mammogram just wonder I should be concerned or if it just the fibro. I will find out the answer soon. Thanks for replying

Worrying will just stress you out and cause a flare. It ciuld just be me or chronic fatigue as the other post stated. Or It could be an underlying illness you don't know about. I just don't want you to worry. Let me know how things go.xoxo

With the breast lump, I would get that checked, I have a lot of weird bumps too but they are in my thighs, arms, everywhere and I told my dr a few years ago and he said they were fibro, but yes get it checked out. I am due for a mammo too, I hate the squeezing.

The squeezing was not bad to but very uncomfortable. The burning sensation is the annoy part. I have knot in my right neck and shoulders. I gonna start massage therapy Monday. Physical Therapy is too much at this time. I am trying stretching every other day to try improve my mobility.
