i have had swollen lymph nodes (approx 2-2.5 cm) in my neck for going on 3 months or so. additionally, i have been dealing with constant fatigue and right ear pain. i have had a ct scan and multiple blood tests that have been inconclusive....does anyone have suggestions as to what this issue could be attributed to?

I wish I knew. I have an appointment with my doctor for similar results and see where it goes from there. If there is something new I will let you know.

Usually they take a biopsy and check for potential malignancy . Maybe this is the last best step you can do if they can't reach any conclusion.

I will let you know anyway in my case.

I forgot to mention that I had my thyroid completely removed so it cannot be the thyroid that is causing the troubles 😃

I have had several enlarged nodes in my neck for seven months now (7 btwn 1.3-2.7 cm). Extensive testing and biopsy only show them as "reactive". I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's 7 years ago and take levothyroxine. Tests showed subclinical hypothyroidism one month ago, but thyroid levels were normal at onset of nodes. My GP, internist, allergy/immunologist, infectious disease, and one ENT have said they are not related to my thyroid, but another ENT said people with Hashimoto's can present with enlarged nodes, though he is not sure why. I suspect it's connected and may have been a warning sign for the eventual onset of hypothyroidism.

Not sure if you're thyroid has been tested, but might be good to check since fatigue is one of the main symptoms of hypothyroidism.
