Swollen lymph nodes, open sores around anus

I exercised with a couple of friends of mine at the gym about two weeks ago. I typically do not do anything more than the treadmill, but we did weights, sit ups, and a variety of other exercises I am not accustomed to. Also, a few days ago at work I strained my leg muscles a bit lowering myself almost to the floor carrying a lot of weight. I noticed roughly 3-4 days ago that in between my thigh and the front of my pubic area, I had a lump under the skin, slightly painful to the touch. Around the same time my anal area became slightly inflamed and has some bumps that seem to be leaking pus or some other fluid, and now I've noticed another lump opposite the first. I wonder if I strained muscles exercising and if friction has caused the rawness around the anal area, or if there is another possibility. I thought maybe the nodes were swollen simply due to infection, but thanks to Google I am becoming very concerned that I may have herpes. Any helpful input would be appreciated. I am 19 and female. I have photos but unsure how to attach them.

Well if it make you feel any better I had unprotected sex and some time later I noticed sores on my penis and a swollen lymph node in my right groin. I went to the doctor and he said it was herpes. Long story short I took a blood test and it was negative. Hope the same goes for you

I have the same too. Just diagnosed with genital herpes, I went to urologist and he just saw it and said it was herpes and he gave my acyclovir meds for it and with just 4-5 days it healed and now after a week of it, it came back. I think sex will trigger herpes too and masturbation. I dont know if it is hsv2 or 1 because I didnt have a blood test done. Is it possible we got herpes but it will come out negative on a blood test? If so why does it happen??

So what it is you had? You said you had a sores on your genital and lymph on the groin, I experienced it too. Why is that it is negative? If it is not a herpes what is really is it?
