Swollen lymph nodes! REALLY SCARED!

I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck on both sides for months now. A few weeks ago I noticed symmetrical lymph nodes under my jaw as well. I have vis item 4/5 different doctors and have been told that it is nothing and that the swellings in my neck are from a previous infection a few years ago and have stayed "shotty". The others in my jaw are because of my braces that I have, although I didn't know this was a thing??? I'm really worried I feel like they shouldn't be up and that they are getting bigger. I'm constantly feeling them (I know this could make them swell more). My Doctors never mention lymphoma but when I do they juSt say that there is nothing wrong with me. I also had blood tests which came back normal (I believe most individuals with lymphoma have normal blood tests?) So this didn't ease my mind at all.

Well.. if it makes you feel any better, research shows that the chance of cancer for lymph nodes below 3cm is only 0.06%.  So as you can see, you chance is just so slim, that it is nothing to worry about.  If they were that large, you doctor would have already done further testing.  Also.. yes, braces can cause swollen lymph nodes, because they can swell in response to any kind of inflammation.  Braces cause mild inflammation as they slowly move your teeth.  Really, it's nothing to worry about..  your doctor would have done more testing if he thought there was even a chance for cancer.  Also.. quite playing with them.  I know it's hard to do, but will only keep them swollen and not allow them to go back down.

Thank you for taking time out to reply! And really?? I did not know that, it makes me feel better knowing that! I guess I should listen to my doctors considering I've been to 5 different ones and they have all told me the same! Maybe I should take up a new hobbie to take my mind of it hahaha! Thank you again for replying!😊
