Swollen lymph nodes . Severe pain . Please help .

Please someone help!! I have had swollen lymph nodes for about 6 months now . The doctors thought I tested positive for mono but now are saying they think I had it in the past but do not have it now??? . I have severe pain in my neck from the swollen glands . My neck becomes so stiff I can't even move it . And the pain just throbs constantly . It's almost unbareable. I am waiting on results from more blood tests . I also had an ultrasound on my thryoid they found a 2cm nodule on my right side and just want to keep an eye on it to see if it grows and all else they saw was severe swollen lymph nodes. No doctors can seem to agree on anything or figure out what the problem is . All I know is I feel AWFUL! Does anyone have any insight on my situation ?? Thanks .

Hello lakenkayana,
Well, I guess it's not u all alone now. I experienced mine about a year and 2 months now. I'm 32 year old healthy male, Just after i quit smoking and develop some unusual symptoms. My right neck node seem to be swelling then my left side node. It is just allocated under my jaw a little down line with my adam apple. It causes my shoulder to be stiff, throbbed pain and sore in my right neck. I had checked CT scan with contrast and the results came out fine. I go multiple times to different doctors and they say there is nothing to worry about. They gave me pain killer and vitamins for daily consume. Untill today the pain come and go... 1 thing for sure, i managed to control my anxiety to prevent my self from being worst. Still seeking for some answers now. Take care.

Hi Rosanna,
Sorry for my late reply, I hope you still active here.
Yes Until today, My node is still there. Sometimes it gets sore and sometimes it doesn't. It has been 2 years plus now since my last post here. By the way, how are you now? Hope you doing fine.
