Please help i'm a virgin but have inflammation in my urethra not very bad but has been there for a very long time and I am going to have sex for the first time but i am not sure if i should or not . the stinging isnt very bad in am 18 year s old.please get back to me of you know what this could be.

First of all welcome to the forum. Now I'm going to talk to you like I talk to my sons. You may have a UTI of some kind you need to get that checked to see what it is before you go out and have sex.
Sex could make it worst. I know your young but you want it to be special the first time you don't want or need to get anything worse or give the other person anything.

You can get them from anything. Here are some. I know you have not had sex yet but we all carry bacteria and girl have it in there vagina so be careful. Also before you masturbate wash your hands . You hands can pick up bacteria. Make sure you wash before and after.
Constipation, Holding in you urine before going to the bathroom. Dehydration also kidney stones. Things happen. Please have it checked before you do anything. Also with you being so young learn more about your body and how to keep them healthy

With you being 18 you can go to a walk in clinic to have it checked

hello thank you for your quick responses i went to the walk in and the doctor said it is balantitis. i have been using cream for the last two days that i was prescribed but i am not seeing any improvements. i have all of the symptoms of this but i don"t know what my next step should be

You have to do what the doctor told you. It will take 7 to 10 day so I hope it gets better. Just give it time....

hi im 29 years old chemical engineering and from iran. i have this issue from 2 years ago after only 2 min unprotected relationship .I’ve learned that doctors are useless when it comes to diagnosing a symptom in the absence of positive test results, which made me somewhat obsessive over trying to self diagnose this.After all the research I’ve done over the past 2 years, on a daily basis, I feel I am almost an expert in this topic lol. and now I guess this bumps is immunologic action against some viruses such as EBV CMV and etc .and called lichen planus i hope this information be usefull

Dear friends its very important that unfortunately the test results for CMV and EBV viruses were positive for recent infection 1 week after sex.Im sorry for myself 😦 take care yourself.
