Swollen submandibular lymph node in neck for 6 weeks, no symptoms.

Since January 3 (now Feb 13) I've had a swollen lymph node in my neck that has gradually enlarged. I have ZERO symptoms. No fatigue, no night sweats, no itching, no unexplained weight loss. The node is fairly hard/rubbery but moveable.

I have seen a PCP about this who has run a CBC that came back normal and an ultrasound that came back uncertain with "cortex thickening" but no other notes about hilum or anything. The latest measurement is 3.1 x 1.6 x 1cm. I had trouble swallowing for a few weeks which led me to go to the ER where a Contrast CT was taken that came back normal.

I am trying to schedule a FNA biopsy but the entire process has destroyed my mental health. I am in a constant state of anxiety wondering if I had cancer.

During all of this I am running 12-15 miles a week and my appetite is normal. Like I said, no symptoms.

The ONLY thing I can think of that might have triggered any of this is that I had COVID early November last year. So approx 2 months before noticing the lymph node I came down with COVID-19.

I am at my wits end with this.
