Swollen thyroid

Ok so I wrote a couple weeks back about my issues and I was told by you wonderful people to get checked by a specialist because my symptoms sound like I do have a thyroid problem. Well I cant go because I do not qualify for insurance. The 3 jobs I do have none carry insurance because I am considered part time at all of them. But anyways my joints still hurt and are getting worse my anxiety is awful my fog brain is worse and now my voice is very hoarse and I just noticed that my right side i believe on my thyroid gland is getting swollen. I noticed it the other day in a picture and i looked tonight and it is starting to just stick out. I feel like something is always squeezing my throat.

Should I be worried? Or just wait until I can qualify for insurance? Please help

    Yes you should be worried !! I think make an appointment with an endo....I know here it takes a awhile to get in so maybe you'll have the insurance by then. Mine was swollen and I had nodules and I had to have my thyroid removed. I hope one way or another you go see an endo...:-)

      Has anyone had their phenylalanine or tyrosine levels tested? Is there any  use in doing this?
