Mine are large, but they dont hurt, although i have a hard time with shoes even though my feet arent swollen; i just dont like shoes since pmr. they seem uncomfortable, even loose fitting ones.

I had awful problems with my feet with PMR - when I stood from sitting it was like standing on a mixture of sharp stones and broken glass. Once I was on pred it slowly improved until suddenly one day I realised they didn't hurt any more. They were swollen - didn't LOOK swollen but I needed a larger shoe size. The only footwear I could walk in reasonably comfortably were heavy walking shoes,, sandals were impossible. But while I don't remember noticing swollen veins as a general rule - I DID have occasional episodes of my feet feeling as if they were on fire and swollen.

On higher doses of prednisone, the soles of my feet were cushiony, not quite right, maybe the beginnings of a diabetic sensory sensation, which gradually went away on lower doses. I am taking 7-7 1/2 mgs currently and my feet bottoms like soft shoe soles.
