SYMPHONY AFTER 3 YEARS

I have had symfony lenses for 3 years, the left eye now is sph -0.50 cyl +0.50 and the right is sph -0.50 without astigmatism.

I can see very well up close and I haven't worn glasses for near vision for 3 years. I've been without 20/25 glasses for a long time and I only wear glasses for night driving and rarely on TV.

I had asked the doctor to do everything I could to have good intermediate and distant vision,

He told me that because I had done lasik years ago, he could not guarantee the result.

I really like the way it turned out, although he suggested that he could make me the remote with PRK.

However, I am so happy with the final result that I don't want to take a risk

to lose intermediate vision if I do PRK for plano in the left eye .

If I did only the astigmatism with PRK, would I have any benefit?

What is your opinion please

fixing astigmatism will make your intermediate and near worse. why do you wear glasses for night time?

With the glasses I see better and I have better driving clarity, myopia is -0.50 in both eyes.

with just -0.5 myopia and astigmatism u seem to have gotten good intermediate and near. that's a great result. just move on and wear glasses at night. congrats!

I agree! Quit while you are ahead! Every time you go under the knife there are risks.
