Symprove Probiotic

Anyone tried Symprove and found they got better or worse? If you haven't heard of it, have a little google, it sounds promising through claiming to be the only probiotic to pass all three tests they did, it supposedly working on around 60% of people according to King's College and reading some of those success stories - only downfall is the price.

Although I'm currently two weeks into it and today seem to notice a general feeling of malaise growing along with getting a bit light-headed, feverish and itchy skin and I know its the probiotic because I'm on the FODMAP diet so haven't been eating anything differently in a long time that could effect me. I found Symprove posted a video on their facebook page about 'die-off' and am hoping it is that but who knows, I was just wondering what other people's experiences were whilst taking Symprove.

Hello  I am sure someone on this forujm spoke about this.  I have not tried it.  Hopefully someone will get back to you.  If you google something like anyone tried symprove it might take you to the post on this forum.  Sorry can't be more helpful.

Very interesting... not heard about them before but if they do what they say then they sound very promising.

Can't see why there would be any 'die-off' because the probiotics are only replenishing but then I'm no expert although I do have some experience of bowel problems...

Hope all goes well for you in the future.

I am on Simprove and on the 4th bottle. My first month and  I paid £74 for a month`s supply. They say that to get the full benefit we should stay on this regimen for 12 weeks. I drink a certain measure every morning on an empty stomach the first thing I do as soon as I am on my feet. It feels good when I drink it....but later I still get bloated. I think the problem with me is my too sensitive nerve or nervous disposition. I am on edge most of the time. My pulse tends to race with or without any reason...and immediately I get bloated in a very bad way. having gone to toilet does not always solve it. I think this IBS is not always related to what we eat....it is what goes inside of our brains. This bloatedness wakes me up in the middle of the night or towards the morning with feeling nausea and palpitations....and a cold sweat. This really puts me in a panicky mood. I so  many times wanted to call an ambulance..because of the fast rate my heart was pounding. I also think if my thyroid gland is underpar...I do not know. My GPs do not seem to delve into it too much...they all say it is anxiety produced symptoms....which makes me feel scream with frustration. I have got so many tablets in my cubboard, I feel like a chemist`s.

So, this symprove is on trial with me. I shall try to stick to this  12- week- regimen to see if I can make any progress.!!

I was thinking of trying them, but on research, I think I will try kefir.
