I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in October 2015 and it's been all down hill. Every joint is painfull especially my feet ankles and hands also have pain in elbows knees shoulders and back. I have been on prednisone, methotrexate  and sulfasalazine and nothing is working. On the 20th May I am entitled to the free injections and I can't wait. I have extreme sweating to the extent I'm not game to go out most days and the fatigue is relentless. Does anyone have any suggestions I'm at my wits end most days I can hardly walk with the pain any help would be appreciated thanks kim

I'm so sorry to hear of your pain, nothing made it better for me until I got on the right meds (methotrexate and enbrel). I still have days when I don't know what to do with myself, when the drugs are not working too well so I really feel for you.

Hopefully when you have your injections you'll feel much better. Take care xxx

    Hi Kim

Sorry to hear your struggling so much, what pain killers have they given you? I take a combination of Tramadol and Co codomol. I am also on MTX and Sulfasalazine. Even with those I have a lot of discomfort but it is not as bad as having nothing. It can take upto 6 months for MTX and Sulfasalazine to really take hold and do its job, you may find as the weather warms up it may not be as bad either, I certainly find taht on days when it is warmer I am not in as much pain.
