One morning my heart started beating extremely fast, and so strong, i could hear it. Also my head feels heavy, hot, but no fever-- constant racing pulse, dizzy. Ekg, blood tests... everything normal. I have no idea what's wrong.

Anxiety, likely a panic attack. I would've thought he would assume that after normal results. When it comes on again, just tell yourself it will pass and you're going to allow yourself to let it pass.
If it is panic attack, it can't kill you directly. It's just an increase of adrenaline. Look up the fight or flight response as it may help you understand.
Sorry if I'm wrong, it just sounds like anxiety.
