I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, degenerative disk, copd, and now high BP. my hands jerk where I drop stuff, even go numb at times and tingle too. when I hold my phone or use keys, my hands hurt so bad it feels crippling. I notice these episodes are worsening as time goes by. I have trouble sleeping at times and now my hair falls out in handfuls. just need some help placing what is causing what. I also am looking for advise about what is a good medication to take to help subside these symptoms. it's like what my dr says, cant do anything about it it's something I get to enjoy the rest of my life. thanks and have a blessed day.

Its possible you've got carpel tunnel syndrome. I have it now, developed about 4 or 5 years ago. I also have fibro and disc problems.

    Hi Jessica,

Sorry to hear that you have fibromyalgia. Unfortunately your doctor is right. We have to learn to live with it and adapt to it. I was diagnosed nearly 6 years ago now. I take Gabapentin for the pain also sertraline, plus co-codamol. I still get the pain some days worse than others. The tingling and numbness is quite bad and I really am fed up with dropping things. I fumble about terrible when shopping and trying to get my money out my purse. They tell me to do excersizes but I feel to tired to do them especially when I struggle to do all the house work and jobs that have to be done. The fatigue that comes with it is one of the worse things as I'm tired most of the time. Typing this out to you now has made my hands full of pins and needles. I keep holding them down and shakeing them. Hope you can get some relief with some sort of medication. My thoughts are with you. Josephine.
