Symptoms of Parkinsons

Posted , 3 users are following.

My husband has had Parkinsons now diagnosed, after feeling ill for several years.  He has severe neck  and head pain (not headache) and pain throughout the whole body and muscles, and dystonia in toes on both feet.  Do any of you sufferers have the same problems - or worse.

    Hi Janet,

I can relate to all of those symptoms,I also got diagnosed last year having been unwell for some years, was told it was probably fibromyalgia sjogrens syndrome, then palindromic RA it was only when I started with a tremor in my right hand and lost the ability to write clearly and weakness in my right leg that I got a diagnosis, so far I am not responding well to medication I am being tried on, I hope your husband gets the help he needs.

Hello Linda,   I have just read your post.  I am sorry you are suffering from a lot of these symptoms - were you also finally diagnosed with Parkinsons? or was it something else.   My husband is now bedbound and he cannot walk because of the fear of falling backwards, which is quite frightening at the time.   He also cannot write very well and his body is stiff in all limbs, but these and many other symptoms are put down to Pakinsonism.  Pain killers, morphine patches, and versatis patches for his neck do not seem to work as well as they should.    I hope you soon find a successful treatment to sort your illness out, good luck!   Janet.
