Symptoms relating to your head and your brain

I feel like I repeat myself, over and over, every time I come on here. I am rapidly becoming a broken record. But to say that I am frightened and unsettled by all of this would be an understatement of massive proportions. I have been worrying myself sick about brain tumors for almost two weeks now. I believe I have health anxiety, I have come to terms with it. I wish I didn't have it, but I do. I am currently taking 15mg of Mirtazapine, which I take because they help me sleep. I'm not really sure how well it's helping my anxiety. Sometimes I feel great, and then other times I feel like I am slowly unraveling. I am on a waiting list for CBT, which I hope helps.

I have been suffering with anxiety for a few months, and I have endured many different things; weak and tingling limbs, general aches and pains, my body feeling stiff and rigid, etc. etc. However, any symptom that relate to my head terrify me, and my mind instantly thinks 'brain tumor' - it's horrible. I get this feeling as if someone is pushing down on the top of my head/brain (always at the top, nowhere else); there are times when I feel a cold sensation in certain spots on my forehead. I also occasionally feel these little brain zaps or twinges (those terrify me). Just little shocks inside my head.

I am just so frightened; there are times when I feel my anxiety is subsiding, but then wonder why these weird symptoms aren't going away, and then THAT makes me think it's something else, not anxiety. I have never had a fit or seizure, and am not suffering from headaches (except from the weird pressure at the top of my head), both of which are main symptoms of brain tumors, and yet here I am, convinced that one awaits me in the very near future.

I'm sorry for constantly coming on here and repeating myself; I just don't know where else to turn sometimes.

You've just answered your own question Hun.. You've been anxious for over a week with this. If you're continuously anxious, you're going to produce symptoms, these symptoms being your head sensations. Also, if you try and distract yourself i am certain hour symptoms will go. Your mind is powerful, how do you know you're lot thinking about it so much it's creating these symptoms for you? You need to find a distraction. Also I'd arrange an appointment with you doctor, I was on mirtazapine and came off them as side effects were taking over my life

Im dealing with tmj and these tingly sensations on my face..driving me insane. I cant figure out for the life of me why my body thinks its all good to clench my teeth while im sleeping. Stupid health anxiety takes off then i freak im not going to heal or now this it the beginning of the end. Its all extremly frustrating. So im sitting here jaw all weird and tinnitus and at times its just hard to fight it all the damn time. I know of every level its anxiety driving it all but i get so scared at times anyway. I dont why some symptoms dont go away honestly. Stress can cause evident based issues it caused my  tmj thats for sure.

everyone with anxiety thinks they have got worse symptoms than the anxiety itself. Especially the health variety.  Try not to worry you are still young and should not be fearing death  at your age.
