symptoms worse during second half of cycle

Hi all

I've been keeping a symptom diary and can now see that my peri symptoms (mainly anxiety, internal tremor, shaking) are worse from day 13/14 onwards. I seem to be at my 'best' (I use the term very lightly ) during days 1-12. I'm not sure I'm ovulating every month as can I usually tell but periods are still regular. What would this mean in terms of hormones? Am I best when both estrogen and progesterone are lowest or is this not the case if I'm not ovulating? I'm trying to work out if I need estrogen or it it's causing the problems.

Anyone noticed the same thing?

Thank you x

    Hello Bombodie,

I too have worsening of Symptoms the second half of my cycle as well. I have been working with a ND to try to figure this out. I was taking a 100 mg of micronized progesterone. The ND increased to 200 mg recently than stop once my period started. My symptoms have seem to worsen since the stopping of the prog. I am

convinced, its a balancing act where both est and progest are needed-which takes time and hormonal testing to figure out, in my opinion. I totally understand the physical and psychological (in my case) discomfort.

    Hoping this helps some,
