Symptoms Worsening Advise Needed

Hi,

On Ranatadine as well as galvascone but recently i have become very horse(voice) and my swollowing has been getting worse. I only had my original scan 13 months ago.

The doctor sent me to see the surgeon re another scope but he said no need as would not have progressed as quickly and we need to do operation on stomach to reduce acid.

I am worried that maybe it has progressed but i know he is the professional and i should accept his opinion. Obviously my worry is i dont want it progressing to cancer.

I was fortunate to know i had barretts as it was found whilst looking for something else and never really got any  symptoms until i started taking the medications.

Any thoughts?

    Hi I too have barretts and worry about any new or reoccurring symtoms related to the throat Just recently I had a 3 to 4 days of lump in my throat and swallowing problems but went away but our throats can get unrated very early I sure you are fine

    Hello and hi again yes I do get pain in my shoulder left mainly but also in the right when I mentioned this to my G.I. doctor he noted that I do have a medium sized hiatal hernia and that it can have pain post on the Vagus nerve

      Hi thanks for reply, i hate the pains you never know if it is a heart attack or acid but i will be getting stomach operation soon which will hopefully help.
