Syndesmotic screw removed

Looking to see if anyone who has had syndesmotic screw removed has any advice...

I had the screw removed on Thursday (3.5 months after ORIF ankle surgery) and so far it feels better to not have a boot on. I don't want to be overly confident in the ankle, but also don't want to unnecessarily wear the boot if I don't have to.

Anyone with any recovery experience after syndesmotic screw removal please chime in!

    I believe we went through surgery very close to the same time. How are you healing after the last several months?
