Syphilis or Herpes???!

about a week ago i noticed a scab like Ulcer on my pubic region and i noticed something wasnt right so i got some Antibiotics (Doxycycline) and have been taking them for about 8 days now. its like one second it looks like its clearing up then it gets worse idk what it is i thought it could be Syphilis but im worried its Herpes, plz help!

    u need to get tested for both before the blisters dry up

      doxycycline wont clear it that

      a swab is more reliable test and needs doing before they dry up

      or u will require a blood test which may not be as accurate

    im just wondering why u used doxycycline to treat it if was syphilis primary stage syphilis is treated with penicillin injection but looks more like herpes u should stop taking the doxycycline self treating is not a good idea

      if you're allergic to Penicillin like i am the secondary treatment is 100mg Doxycylcine twice a day

      they usually give azithromycin u need to test for both u should go to sexual health clinic

      syphilis causes a painless ulcer about 1/2 cm in size as its primary lesion herpes is usually very painful

      do u have any rash on your hands and feet ?

      no rashes, but none if the sores hurt unless i have certain type of clothes on

    have you been tested for syphilis? that would be a step in the right direction
