TAA Rib Pain

Hi, I'm a 55 year old male and had my Decending Aorta replaced 9 months ago. It was >7cm. Replaced from arch to kidneys. Came out of surgery a paraplegic with sever rib pain.
Stopped taking pain pills around 3 months and am back to work in a wheel chair. Been going to rehab twice a week trying to get my legs working again. I've had some return and can walk stiff legged in a walker for short distances. I have to sit down after a half hour of standing.
My ribs have hurt the entire time. I can not lay on my side. If I do, the next day, I'll be in sever pain. Can lay on back and right side only. Laying on stomach or left side, just agrivates the pain.
I'm starting to get concerned about the pain. My physical theripist thinks my ribs should be healed by now. Anyone with similar rib issues?
Going back for another CT of chest next week. Will ask doc about pain, but don't expect much help. I can't imagine living like this forever. I keep telling myself it will get better.

I had surgery 1 yr ago. Chest (ribcage) on the right side still hurts. It has gradually gotten better but seems to have reached a plateau. Its always there but gets worse with certain movements and with sneezing & coughing. Im having an MRI in a few days. I've also been through physical therapy but the pain is still there...
