Tachycardia triggers.

Little background. 22 year's old. 175 (little overweight for 5'7) and have experienced chest pain for years. Went through the ringer. Cardiac CT, ultrasound of my corotid and echocardiogram. All came back normal. Recently, about the past 6 months. I've been having frequent episodes of tachycardia. Have gone to the ER several times for this but theyre saying it's sinus tachycardia and not SVT. i notice latetly if i have alcohol, any amount, about 90% of the time i have a tachycardic episode. I've told the doctors this but they think it's anxiety. I know its not-- the anxiety COMES from the episodes, not the other way around. Anyone else have certain strange triggers? And should i be concerned although my doctors think I'm fine?

Ryan, my SVT is definitely set off by triggers....alcohol, spicy food, stress, dehydration, nightmares, caffeine...I try my best to keep these all in check, and it really helps.

Mine definitely have triggers. Caffeine, chocolate, and of course anxiety makes it worse. I take metropolol and it helps
