I had rectocele surgery over a year ago. Now I'm having tailbone pain. I Dont know if its assiocated with the surgery or its nerve pain

Did you have mesh inserted ? Could be nerve damage as this can happen due to cut nerves .

Only your surgeon will know . Can you get an appointment to rule any issues yiu may have.

Hi, the pain you are having could well be nerve pain, but just to be sure I would go back to you GP or health care team and get them to check it. You shouldn't have to live with this sort of discomfort. Good luck.

I would strongly advise yiur consultant check yiu out as the gp can be very dismissive.
They are not qualified enough to know exactly what it is that affecting you.
Only your surgeon will know what's been done in surgery,good luck hun

Hi my surgery was just over three months ago and I'm getting back pain too. Not sure that it is due to straining as I did get constipated. Or maybe like you're thinking it could be nerve damage. Think we both need to visit our GPS! Good luck. X
