Talking Therapies

On a recent visit to my doctor she suggested I make contact with a service they provide called Talking Therapies. Just wondering if anyone has tried this service?

    Many of us find it extremely difficult to talk at all during an exacerbation of TN (I seem to be OK now I've had my MVD) so I am not sure how some therapy involving moving the mouth, lips and jaw would work.

      According to the leaflet it involves an initial telephone call to assess the problem. Thereafter the relevant counselor makes contact and the therapy can take place via the internet. Its purpose is to give the individual the necessary tools to deal with their particular situation which in my case would be ways to deal with the anxiety generated by TN.
