Tamsulosin and fatigue

Can anyone give there experiences with taking Tamsulosin and the potential side affects with fatigue. I've been using it off and on for a couple of years and while I find it helps improve my BPH I do get some days of bad fatigue and lethargy and finding it difficult to pin it down as to whether it's just a bad day, getting older and life in general or is it the Tamsulosin . Im 61 and do have quite a physical job .

Im actually trying to decide whether to take the offer of having a TURP operation or not or do I find a better medication that potentially won't have the side affects of fatigue.

I self cathed for few months until it was not voiding as required leaving retention which in turn put pressure on my kidneys and their function. Uro conducted an anus scan which showed a median lobe that seemed to obstruct the bladder neck. Consequently decided on Aquablation which was undertaken 4 weeks ago. Recovery has been slower than expected ( TWOC not worked so far) and retain foley cath for another 2 weeks. Uro says not unusual for someone who has had Catheter for some weeks ( mine was installed early August to relieve the pressure and risk to my kidneys). In the Uro's words my bladder has become lazy and needs to be re-trained. Will be put on Tamsolin 3 days before cath removed. This is supposed to encourage bladder activity.
