Tamsulosin Side Effects

I will be 70 in 2 Months. About 2 Years ago Urologist put me on Tamsulosin for BPH. Knew about obvious Side Effects regarding some Adverse Sexual Effects but hate to admit I was so Slow in realizing other Issues could be related to this Drug. Always thought each of them related to getting Older. Now after suffering from Chronic Shortness of Breath, Chronic Joint Pain, Unbelievable Fatigue, Irritability, Memory Loss and Confusion, TREMENDOUS Increase in Fat - especially in Abdominal Region, Heart Arithmias, et al. I finally reserched this Drug. I discovered EVERY One of these Issues are Possible Side Effects of Tamsulosin.
?I stopped this Drug 4 Days ago and have an Appt tomorrow with Urologist.
?My Question: Will most of these issues - especially the Shortness of Breath and Joint Pain Ever Go Away? I Thank Everyone in Advance for Your Feedback! ErnieSC

Thank You Alan for Feedback.
My Urologist is in Surgery most days so yesterday I met with his P.A.
She seriously doubted ANY of my symptoms were related to Tamsulosin but gave me 30 days of Samples of Rapaflo.
Rapaflo is another Alpha Blocker so I questioned how if differed. No good answer. I'm on Lisinopril for BP and it's an Alpha Blocker.
I've lost 10 pounds in last 6 - 8 Weeks and have 28 to go to have "Normal Weight" for Heighth.
Still short of Breath but Joint Pain easing.
Off Tamsulosin 6 Days. Haven't started Rapaflo. Trouble emptying Bladder.
Have call into Lung Specialist regarding Breathing Options. Lastly, Pulse was 48 upon awakening this morning. No Heart Problems according to Cardiologist except Inverted T Wave. Said that was not very unusual.

OK Folks,
Update: I have been off Tamsulosin for over 3 months now.
All my symptoms have gone away!
I continued to lose weight and was able to start walking with my Wife.
I'm now down about 22 pounds so can't say for sure stopping Tamsulosin
alone allowed me to be able to Breathe again! I'm at 187.4 this morning.
Goal is 170.
Never started Rapaflow. It was another Beta Blocker and possible side effects were same so I thought I would wait.
Have appointment with Urologist next week.
Meantime I get up about 2 - 3 times per night to Urinate but this is nothing compared to what I went through for previous 2 years.
BP down considerably. Prescribed Lisinopril 10 mg twice per day. Down to 1/2 per day. I suppose this could be due to loss of weight.
Will update Post next week.
