Tapering off amitriptyline

I have been tapering down off Amitriptyline for last 12 months after being on them for past 25 years for anxiety & sleep problems. I was on a low dose of 25mg up until 2011 when the dose was gradually increased, the highest dose i was on was 110mg, I am now down to 35mg. i get a lot of headaches but i have read this could be withdrawal & I also get symptoms like I am going down with flu. The last couple of weeks I have been getting an acid stomach, sometimes it's like if my stomach isnt burning, i get a banging headache. The headache goes & then my stomach feels acidic. Does anyone else experience this with amitriptyline withdrawal?
