I have developed TTS due to a TAR I had 16 months ago.
Does anyone know if this is typical?

My surgeon said it's Tarsal (not Carpal) Tunnel Syndrome. You're early in your recovery so I’m not surprised you have numbness and pins and needles as your nerves are still regenerating.
I am 16 months post-op and the ball of my foot is still numb. I did go back to my ankle surgeon a few months ago and said it was probably TTS and referred me to a different ankle doctor who specializes more in nerve issues post-surgery. I have yet to go to him due to insurance reasons.
