yes I had that going on for a while when peri symptoms first started. I had a complete loss of appetite and nausea due to anxiety. I lost 20lbs in matter of few weeks. I had to force myself to eat but like you everything tasted blend. I lived on healthy smoothies and soups for a while. I am doing much better now as far as my appetite, other symptoms are still lingering around. It's part of peri, it will pass. Try eating small meals or make yourself some healthy smoothies, and do the best you can to rest and relax. take care.

I've not heard of that one. Checked on the list of 66 symptoms (see below) and found bad taste in mouth (number 61), but I may have missed it. Have provided list here for you to check.
SIXTY-SIX PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS of perimenopause:-
These are very real physical changes and conditions. Some symptoms alarm a woman that she may be suffering from a serious disease. Perhaps you know the more common ones related to menopausal symptoms in this list. But many of these may surprise you, as they have not been typically associated with this normal physiological transformation.

I have probably 60 of those symptoms plus a few not listed. Im 48, 100lbs i just cry everyday and pray for god to take me. I cant take it anymore. Add in an unhappy marraige and 2 teenage daughters im failing and the thought that i have passed this on to them and there are days i just want to die.

Susan, it is a tough time of life, but it will pass. I started peri at 47. I am now 53 and most of my symptoms have gone. Just still feel exhausted at times. I too have a teenage daughter, about to do GCSEs - very stressy. Hubby and son are escaping for a holiday over the Easter holiday! Hang in there and it will get better.
