Teeth or Tattoos After Valve Surgery

Anyone else expereince any teeth problems after surgery while recovering?  I already have had to have one pulled and I hate to say it but I might need to get another one pulled, just four months after the surgery.

I'm wondering if it is part of the immunity being low from the recovery, I also get tattoo discomfort now, something I never had prior to this valve surgery.

    They warned me before heart surgey that teeth can be damaged by the device they put into your mouth/throat during the procedure, One of my front teeth seems pushed out of position and has been chipped.

      That makes sense, and I exactly wondered about the effects of that being heavily medicated if we bite down on that or not, I guess they clamp it down to the teeth some how.
