hi,I've been having issues of one thing or another for a couple of years now but last 3 months I've had constant migraine ,especially over one eye,long story short bloods are showing inflammation,has pet scan last week and booked in for temperal biopsy wednesday,have any of you had this?are have they diagnosed other ways ?I've got to say I'm scared stiff after googling it.

Please post this question in a more active forum. Unfortunately I'm not able to post a link, but if you google HealthUnlocked you will find a very active PMR and GCA community (PMRGCAuk) and a number of patients with a lot of experience to give you support. I have not had these symptomsbut one thing puzzles me. Usually a scan is considered more definitive than the biopsy - it's too easy to miss an affected section with biopsy so there are a lot of false negatives. But over on HealthUnlocked you'll find people who can explain the rationale.
