Tender bone under both ribs.

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have a circular bone at the bottom of both of my ribs that feels tender to touch, especially the one on the left side. I've tried to search up what this bone can be and have found nothing so now I'm beginning to think it's abnormal.

Hmm I wonder what you are feeling? Is it hard or soft? As you say both sides I wonder if it is the lowest ribs you can feel which feel as though they are turning under the main rib cage. you may just be irritating a nerve by constantly feeling them and convincing yourself they are abnormal.

Do you have any digestive problems? Feel unwell? Pain after exercise? Pain when you breathe deeply? If none of these try to just ignore those bones.

It's hard, that's why I would say it's a bone rather than a lump. The only thing I've seen that it could maybe be is floating ribs. But I could be completely wrong. I'm not feeling unwell otherwise. The bottom of my rib also sticks out more than the other on that side.
