Tender bump behind left ear

Hi. A few days ago I noticed a bump behind my ear while I was taking a bath, it's not really on my head, it's on the cartilage of my right ear where the ear joins the head, just above the earlobe. I also have another bump in the lower outer rim, very close to the cartilage.
The first one is the size of a small pea, I can move it up and down, and the second one is even smaller. They feel hard, hot and very sore! (specially if I try to squeeze them.).
I'm worried sick because my dad thought it was a lymph node, but I told him that as far as I know, there are no lymph nodes on the cartilage of the ear. My mom thinks it's a boil/cyst. I've had these kind of bumps in my earlobe before, but never on that part of my ear.
As a little background I've had a terrible bout of acne since earlier this year. Last month I had a lump above my right eye, below my eyebrow and close to my nose. This one would not go away even if I put hot compresses on it day after day.
One day I was so desperate I cleaned the skin with alcohol and pinched it with an insulin syringe. A lot of blood and transparent liquid came out and my skin came back to normal. (I know I shouldn't have done that...) I'm thinking that my plastic eyeglasses might be the problem....
Should I worry about these bumps? I'm going to see a dr next week but in this moment I'm very anxious. I tried looking at them but it's kinda difficult holding a mirror behind my head. And my parents say the skin on the lumps is a little bit red...
If it were something serious should I be looking out for other symptoms?

It sounds like it could be cartilage or a spot to me, there are no nodes on your ear as far as I'm aware either.
I wouldn't worry about it, your doctor probably won't either.
(Not medical advice, not a doctor etc.etc.)

Dan, I am having issues with my ear and have basically freaked myself out by reading so much... my mother died because of an elective surgery and doctors kept telling her dont worry dont worry youre healing. well she was septic and so i am always self-researching anything. however...i dont want to panic but i read about something (posted below) and searched it and saw pics and it shows up behind the ear. So check into that just to make sure you're ok. let us know what happens.
