Tender calf pain not going away

Hi, I have been experiencing lower calf pain that feels like a stinging sensitive pain (shooting pain) for a few months now. I only feel the pain when i lightly touch the skin on the calf or I wear loose trousers that brush on the area. It's an outer pain rather than muscle pain. Sounds odd I know, I've made numerous visits to the doctor and had blood tests etc. But I still have no answers. It's really starting to bother me now. I would just like to know if anyone else has experienced this before? Many thanks.

Sounds like a nerve that is acting up when it is lightly touched. As I recall I had something like that in the distant past and it went away on its own after time. Have you tried to cover the area with a wrap or large bandage so that nothing else touches the skin? Good luck, I know it's difficult not to get answers from your medical professionals.

Nerve sensations and pain can be caused by pinching in the spine.

If you haven't yet, go to a physio and see if they can help.
