Tender circular bone at the bottom of both ribs.

I noticed a while back that I have a circular bone at the bottom of both of my ribs and when I touch it it is very sensitive and tender. I thought it was strange and searched up what bone it is out of curiosity and I can't find anything that explains what it is. My health anxiety makes it play on my mind everyday. The fact that I have it on both sides makes me feel a bit better but I don't know why it hurts to touch. The only explanation I could think of is that I have floating ribs and I'm touching the tip of them

    Your assumption could be correct but if this is really bothering you you will have to consult with your doctor.

    See if you can get an appointment with your GP & see if he will give you an xray
