Tendon or nerve catching on plate and screws

Hi All

I am 4 months post-op and moving around without any ads but the last 2 days I wake up in extreme pain and feel like something i caught under my fibula plate. Has anyone else experienced this? The top of my foot (pinky toe side) is still numb and around my plate is too. It's driving me nuts and I have missed work 2 days in a row because of the pain.

I am hoping I am not alone!

I'm one year out this week. This has been a awful experience. I did not experience numbness in any of my toes. It was very difficult getting comfortable to get a good night's rest for a very long time. Still experiencing stiffness but much better every month. I will consider metal removement at some point. I do not want to live like this. Also, the bones heal quicker than the ligaments.
