I know a slip or fall lis scary. I've had a couple myself. In my case, I've reminded myself that there was a splint or air cast on at the time (which certainly helps stop a lot of movement or strain on the healing tendon) and I would like to believe that the surgical stitches used have some integral strength to them. They can probably handle quite a few lbs of pressure before breaking. Hope that helps ease your worry some.
